The commitment We do not sell, rent or share your email address or personal information with any third party for their own marketing purposes. Not now, and not later.

This policy explains what Fit & Well collects, why, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be read rather than to be survived.

What we collect

Newsletter emailIf you subscribe, we store the email address you give us, and nothing else.
CommentsIf you leave a comment, WordPress stores the name and email address you enter with it.
Email to usIf you write to us, we hold that correspondence so we can reply and keep track of the conversation.
AnalyticsAggregated, non-identifying information about which pages are visited and how the site is used.

We do not ask for your name, your phone number, your date of birth or any health information, and we would rather you did not send them.

What we use it for

  • Sending the newsletter you asked for.
  • Replying to you when you write to us.
  • Moderating and displaying comments.
  • Understanding which articles are useful so we know what to write and what to review next.

We do not build advertising profiles from any of this, and we do not use your data to target you with advertising anywhere else.

Where it is stored

Newsletter subscriptions are held in this site's own database. They are not passed to an external marketing company. Our hosting provider processes data only as needed to keep the website running.

Cookies

The site uses cookies for basic functionality and for anonymous analytics. You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Doing so may affect how some parts of the site behave, but you will still be able to read everything.

Your rights

  • Unsubscribe. Every newsletter carries an unsubscribe link, and it works in one click.
  • See your data. Ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you.
  • Delete your data. Ask us to erase it and we will, and we will confirm when it is done.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please tell us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with an updated review date at the top of the page. Material changes will be flagged in the newsletter.
